James 1:19-20
Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger: For the anger of man works not the righteousness of God.
This is directly speaking to me I know. Sometimes I am too quick to open my mouth and I don’t listen to what the other person is saying. Anger sometimes takes its bitter hold on me. Father, please forgive my downfalls and help me to love as You love. I ask this in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 79: 8-9
O remember not against us former iniquities: let your tender mercies speedily precede us: for we are brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name’s sake.
I find myself, like David, crying out to God at all times this same prayer. We are so low and He is very high. His ways are so much better. I cry out to You oh God; Bless us, please!

But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality: As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.
If only all man lived by this, wouldn’t this world be much better? Instead, people have lived by greed. How much can be gained and put away and then we have those who have nothing. Let’s all look into our hearts and see if we are living by these principals, or by the lies the evil one has plastered upon mankind.

Revelation 15:4

Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest.
¡Oh Señor! ¿Quién no temerá y glorificará tu nombre? Pues sólo tú eres santo; porque TODAS LAS NACIONES VENDRAN Y ADORARAN EN TU PRESENCIA, pues tus justos juicios han sido revelados.
There will be a day when ALL will bow before God and worship Him. Yes, all!!! His judgement will be sound and true. Not our judgements, but His! What a beautiful and wonderful day that will be!

1 Kings 11:38
And it shall be, if you will hearken unto all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do what is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto you.
This promise made to Solomon by God can also be true for us. If we will listen and heed our heavenly Father, He will bless us in all of our ways and lead us down a path of glory. He will build us a sure house; we must listen and do as He tells us. How do we do this? We read the scripture, we pray and we listen to that “still small voice” which is the Holy Spirit. He will not ask us to do anything contrary to His Word, but He may ask us to do things that are against man’s principals. Oh, Father God, may we always heed You in all ways; please help us to see the correct path. Praise You God; Praise You!

I pray the words of this song over San Juan and Puerto Rico:
Proverbs 27:2
Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
Such wisdom in the words of Proverbs! Have you ever heard another person praising themselves and how it sounds so terrible? Thing is; we all have probably done the same thing. We are all really just full of mud and dirt; it is God through Jesus Christ that cleanses us. Our praise should be of Him, not ourselves. We would be and have nothing if God did not allow or give to us. It’s not our doing, but His.

2 Timothy 3:14
But continue in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them
Don’t give up!!!! God is winning, even when it seems different. The truth is in you and Jesus is with you-So don’t give up!
This is an old time secular rock band, but the message in the song is for us. We must stand strong!!!!
Psalm 125:1-2
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from this time forth even forever.
What a wonderful promise! Just trust in God and He will surround us with His love and mercy. He is our strength and He is our protector. For eternity, not just days or years, but forever God is with us and will comfort and defend us. Praise Him, oh praise Him!!!!

John 15:16-19
You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
God chose us, not we Him. His love for us is just amazing! Really, why would we want anything to do with this worlds ways? When men and women come against the Word that is put on our hearts, we should be joyful thinking of this scripture. If we are following God’s way for us, the world will not like it and that’s ok. Jesus said it, we must heed it!

Ecclesiastes 12:14

For God shall bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Everything means everything. Nothing will be hidden; it will ALL come before God and be put into judgement. Do we consider this with all of our thoughts and deeds? I think sometimes we think that we can hide something. Oh, thank You for grace and mercy through Jesus Christ! It can be embarrassing thinking of some of my deeds that will be shown; How will I answer? Grace; grace and mercy will be the only answer as I bow with tears before our wonderful, loving Savior.
