Job 4:17-21

Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth? They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish forever without any regarding it. Does not their excellence which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.

Sometimes we as humans seem to think our advice or thinking is wise. Is it? Many times God “throws a wrench” into our supposed wisdom. We actually are very stupid. No matter who, our thinking is out of bounds. We think with greed and sin and not with God’s perfect purpose at heart. This is why Jesus came to Earth, to give us a gift because none of us, no not one would be good enough to come into a Kingdom of peace and righteousness without Him. I can understand Job’s thinkings and writings very well. I don’t deserve any good thing from God because I am wicked and unworthy. I praise and thank Jesus for His beautiful gift for you and me. God, please help me do and walk in Your will; not any other.
