And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people joined in to the covenant.
If the leaders and kings of the Earth did this now, they would bless their country and people. I have a dream of all leaders bowing before God soon. It will be an amazing sight. May Jesus reign!
I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked are before me.
Our lips can speak us into bad situations. People will use our words against us, even when we mean right. Before we speak, praying is essential. Sometimes it is much better just to hold our words. If we let the Holy Spirit guide us, God can and will show us when to speak.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you: To the end he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
This too, is my prayer for all of you who are reading this blog post. Let your love flow. Let God rule your hearts and your minds. He is everything; there is nothing that is more important than our relationship with God. Praise Him!
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know my integrity.
Do each of us feel comfortable saying these words? How are our morals and integrity? Will the scales read in our favor when God weighs us? We cannot count the world’s standards of integrity; God’s standards are much different. I pray this also. Please weigh me Father and I ask your forgiveness for the wrongs I have done you.
9But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
There are many who want to “debate” or “argue” the Bible. There is a time to give explanations, but in many cases, it is wiser to just walk away. Many of these people who are this way know the truth, but have denied it. Their primary objective is to trap you into a “word game”. Their father is Satan and they have walked away from Jesus. It is much better to ignore their debate and let God fight that battle in their minds and hearts. Let God’s Spirit be the guide.
That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
We are to show the world our faith and joy. We are not to hide and hoard it. It is not telling people what they are doing wrong, but showing people how Jesus works in us and how He can in them also. We don’t point fingers; we are the ones who should be getting pointed at, with people saying, “why are they happy and have peace?” All thanks to God and to His son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
It doesn’t say here that some have it right and some have it wrong; it says we all have it wrong. We have all faltered. God cares so much that He sent Jesus to bear all our faults. Do we realize that? Instead of weighing who is good and who is bad, don’t we realize we are all bad? None of us have it completely right, but thanks to God and Jesus, we are cleansed and sanctified. All praise to God!
23And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
If we live by this scripture, no one will be able to truthfully say we are in the wrong. God will reward us according to how we live and how we treat others. No matter our work or what we do, if we do it as we are doing it for God, it will be good! Praise Him!
15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
hemos hecho un convenio con el Seol;
angular, preciosa, fundamental, bien colocada.
y la justicia por nivel;
Walk in wisdom toward them that are outsiders, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.
Some people can be very difficult to talk with. We need to pray and seek God when we are dealing with these people. If we let God’s Spirit guide us, our words and actions will be right.
