4Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God. 5For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ. 6And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
There has been a problem at times when one Christian seeing another one facing difficulties. It could be a bad medical issue, house burns, car breaks down, etc… The tendency is to say they are doing something wrong. This is not always the case. Sometimes God allows bad things to happen to His people for His Glory. Take a look at Job; he was completely righteous, but he had everything taken from him. He kept praising God and in the end, he was rewarded. Just because someone has cancer, or a child died, or some other bad thing happened, it doesn’t mean God is attacking that person. He has a plan, and it is way beyond any of our plans, thoughts and ideas. Be careful what you say and do; because God will judge you on them in time.
