Isaiah 17: 7-8

In that day man will have regard for his Maker
            And his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel.

He will not have regard for the altars, the work of his hands,
            Nor will he look to that which his fingers have made,
            Even the Asherim and incense stands.

Oh, how I long for this day. This is scripture that provides hope and inspiration, because God said it, and it will be! Men, women and children will all bow to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in worship and praise. We will all understand that our talents are not from our works, but are gifts from God.

I must praise God that He provided me writing talent. It is only by Him and He alone. God gave and God can take away–we must give our worship and praise to Him.

Isaiah 66: 3-5

But he who kills an ox is like one who slays a man;
            He who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s neck;
            He who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s blood;
            He who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol.
            As they have chosen their own ways,
            And their soul delights in their abominations,

      So I will choose their punishments
            And will bring on them what they dread.
            Because I called, but no one answered;
            I spoke, but they did not listen.
            And they did evil in My sight
            And chose that in which I did not delight.”

      Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at His word:
            “Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you for My name’s sake,
            Have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy.’
            But they will be put to shame.

Hypocrisy can be a terrible thing. There are many, and I have been guilty of such, who try to tell others how to do it-how to live in God’s ways, but they do not look in the mirror of their own souls. None of us completely know what all God is doing. He uses the simple things to aggravate the worldly wise things.

It is quite evident in this that we should follow God’s path for our own lives, but do not necessarily think that your neighbor should follow that same path.

It is our position to share our gift of grace with others, in love…but not to tell them how they need to live the life God has for them.

The law is the law….and Grace is grace-the gift of our wonderful Savior!

Isaiah 28: 9-13

“Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask.

“Why does he speak to us like this?

Are we little children,

just recently weaned?

He tells us everything over and over—

one line at a time,

one line at a time,

a little here,

and a little there!”

So now God will have to speak to his people

through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!

God has told his people,

“Here is a place of rest;

let the weary rest here.

This is a place of quiet rest.”

But they would not listen.

So the Lord will spell out his message for them again,

one line at a time,

one line at a time,

a little here,

and a little there,

so that they will stumble and fall.

They will be injured, trapped, and captured.

¿A quién enseñará conocimiento,
          o a quién interpretará el mensaje?
          ¿A los recién destetados?
          ¿A los recién quitados de los pechos?
 Porque dice:
          “Mandato sobre mandato, mandato sobre mandato,
          línea sobre línea, línea sobre línea,
          un poco aquí, un poco allá.
 En verdad, con tartamudez de labios
          y en lengua extranjera, El hablará a este pueblo,
 al cual había dicho: Aquí hay reposo, dad reposo al cansado;
          y: Aquí hay descanso. Pero no quisieron escuchar.
          y sean enlazados y apresados.

Do we actually think we know more than God? We act like it quite often.

God is orderly; He is a God of order. Today’s world may have some wondering, but it isn’t God that has caused the chaos and disorder, it is us humans. It is our greed; it is our jealousy; it is our lying, cheating and stealing. It is our sin.

God will bring us back to Him, and He will do it in what seems harsh ways. He will allow extreme circumstances to make us realize that He is the one who we worship.

Look around at the world and its stresses. It can be fixed, not by judges, juries and executioners, but by we humans falling down and worshiping Jesus. It is through prayer and calling to our mighty God we will be able to overcome.

Time to turn off the tv, the internet and all the other items that are taking away from time with God.

This post is not pointing fingers–well, yes it is…I am pointing the fingers at myself.

We have a great and awesome God who loves and cares for us–Precept upon precept and line upon line, He will bring us back. We can do it the easy way or the hard way–either way

HE WILL!

Isaiah 25:4

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

God is over all; He is Omnipotent. All we need to do is trust. He will not let His people fall. Put your faith and trust in God and Jesus and you can and will stand through all.

Isaiah 33:13-16

13Listen to what I have done, you nations far away!

And you that are near, acknowledge my might!”

14The sinners in Jerusalem shake with fear.

Terror seizes the godless.

“Who can live with this devouring fire?” they cry.

“Who can survive this all-consuming fire?”

15Those who are honest and fair,

who refuse to profit by fraud,

who stay far away from bribes,

who refuse to listen to those who plot murder,

who shut their eyes to all enticement to do wrong—

16these are the ones who will dwell on high.

The rocks of the mountains will be their fortress.

Food will be supplied to them,

and they will have water in abundance.

13 Oíd, los que estáis lejos, lo que he hecho;
y se sacude las manos para que no retengan soborno;
y cierra los ojos para no ver el mal;
16 ése morará en las alturas,
en la peña inexpugnable estará su refugio;
se le dará su pan,
y tendrá segura su agua.

We are to maintain are good. Just because everyone else is doing wrong doesn’t make it ok. If we stand strong on the right actions, God will bless us!

Isaiah 65:17

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

All things will be new. No more remembering the bad–only good and mercy from God. This is what we can look forward to.

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

So much of this is going on in today’s world. Those that deceive others will have to answer, and the consequences will be terrible. Beware the judgements of God! He will not be mocked!

Isaiah 55:12-13

For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

When we follow God’s path for our lives, this promise from Isaiah can be for us. This prophecy speaks of our Lord and Savior, Jesus., but we can also have this response from the earth and nature. By listening to the Holy Spirit and following God’s plan, He will bless us. Praise Him with singing!

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand forever.

God’s Word is alive and will never die. We will all die, but His Word goes on and on. His Word is what made all and is all.

Isaiah 50:7-9

7For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

8He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

9Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

8 Cercano está el que me justifica;
¿quién contenderá conmigo?
Comparezcamos juntos;
¿quién es el enemigo de mi causa?
Que se acerque a mí.
9 He aquí, el Señor DIOS me ayuda;

If we stand on the Rock, He will guide us and keep us in His perfect love.
