Luke 24: 44-48

Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

Jesus made some mighty promises just before He ascended to the Father. It is our duty and desire to pass our blessing onto others. He has given us the will and power to do so. We cannot allow the world to delegate what we preach about Jesus and His mighty love for us. Lets DO IT! Praise our wonderful Lord!

Luke 1:68-69

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he has visited and redeemed his people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David

Luke speaks here of Jesus. We celebrate His life and death and life this weekend. He offers us new life in Him and that is what Easter is all about. All people bow before Jesus who is God.

Luke 12:15

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.

It is very easy to get caught up in wanting what other people have; that process is not of God. There is more to life than what we have. Its all about Jesus: all of it.

Luke 5:31-32

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

No he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores al arrepentimiento.

We get so caught up in just the people within the church that are supposedly already saved. Are we out trying to reach the lost? I will try more, will you? Praise our Holy Lord!

Luke 9:25-26

For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or suffer loss? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

This world is not our world. We are here for a purpose. We are to help others know God; help others know Jesus. Being worried what others think of us is a lie from the devil.

Luke 12:1-3

1In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

Everything we do, say, write, or think will be out in the open. All will be known, but do we consider that? We should.

The world leads to believe that possessing more is good. This is untrue. Material goods and piling them up are not the way to have happiness and joy. Sure, some are blessed with more than others, but it can be wrong to want and want. Our want should be more of our Savior. He will provide all we need. If He provides a lot, He is most likely asking you to use those extras to help others. God will show you if you just ask and seek.

Luke 2:10-11

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Today is the day we celebrate this wonderful birth; the birth of Jesus Christ who came to be a sacrifice for all of us. We give gifts and build trees, but do we really understand what this day is all about? God gave us the greatest gift of all by offering His Son to be our Savior. What kind of gift are we giving Him today? Praise You Father and praise You Jesus!

Luke 10:19-20

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

If we are disciples of Jesus, we have power. With that power comes responsibility. We do not rejoice in that power, but in eternal life with God. Don’t allow satan or his demons to live above you. Know that you are chosen and you have your name in the book of life. Now go spread that light!

Luke 7:40-43

And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have something to say unto you. And he said, Teacher, say on. There was a certain creditor who had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, You have rightly judged.

Y Jesús le dijo: Has juzgado correctamente.

Sometimes I wonder why others just don’t get our Savior as I do and this scripture answers that; I have been forgiven for so much and all I can do is bow and thank God and thank Him and thank Him some more. He offers forgiveness; a free gift and many just don’t want this beautifully wrapped gift; well I do!!!!!! Thank You Jesus and thank You Father God for the mercy You have shown me.
