Asking For Prayers

The post today is slightly off the norm.

I am asking for some heartfelt prayers….Not for myself, but for someone that has been very close to me for all my years.

My Uncle Larry is in the midst of dealing with an aggressive cancer. I believe, as I know all of you do too, that God is miraculous. He can, and will heal, if His will is for that.

I am calling out for prayer…pray for healing for my Uncle Larry; pray for strength for my Aunt Deb; pray for understanding and council for my cousins Joanne, Jon, Jennifer and Janet.

Larry, you have shown me a lot in life, and I know God has a special place just for you. I found myself weeping this morning and with knowing how wonderful a Father and Grandfather you are, I asked God to please take it from you and put it on me…I don’t know if God would do such a thing, but you have shown great care for all of your family, where I have not even come close.

Jesus loves you Larry, and so do I along with so many others.

Whatever God’s will, I will always respect and love you. I wish I was closer to tell you all of this in person, but just know that we are begging God to take that nasty cancer away.

Please everyone who reads this…fall on your knees with me right now and pray for God’s miracle for Larry—PLEASE!

Please also pray for comfort for my Grandma (Larry’s Mom), Larry’s brothers and sisters, and all the rest of those who love him dearly.

Psalms 27:4-5 One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

Larry and his brother Kenny Larry showing love a big portion of my family-Larry is in the blue shirtLarry, this is hard…but Uncle please cling to the old rugged Cross. You have crowns coming. I love you.
