Ephesians 5: 15-17

Happy Thanksgiving!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

It is by the Bible, God’s Word and through prayer that we can walk in wisdom. The world and others may try to make us seem like fools, but as long as we stay in Him, He will carry us thru. The days ARE evil.

Psalm 94:8-11

8Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise?

9He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?

10He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, Even he that teacheth man knowledge?

11Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.

God sees and knows all, but there are actually people that do not consider that. If we all thought on that simple truth before we said, or did, I believe people would act much differently. How will some answer God at the very end? It is a sad thought that man could be so vain to think that our maker doesn’t know all things.

Ecclesiastes 9:17

The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

Sometimes it is much smarter for us to just keep our mouths shut. Our tongues can cause more problems than what the problem may be if we just keep quiet. We don’t always need to argue the Word or debate. God will show the person who is wrong in His way.

Sometimes it is best just to keep our mouths shut; I have had to learn this piece of wisdom. Many times, even when we know someone is incorrect, if we just keep shut they will figure it out on their own. If we tell them, they can get rebellious and won’t figure it out. If we let the Holy Spirit do His perfect work it will come out right and good!
