Titus 3:4-8

4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

These words speak so much about how we need to act after our renewal in Christ. No, we were not saved because of good, but because of grace. God gives us the mind to do good though and we dare not fall back into old ways. We are brand new, don’t let anyone tell you any different.

Acts 20:32

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them who are sanctified.

No matter the speaker or message, our first place should be God’s Word–The Bible. His Words are ample and His Grace is sufficient. Let’s keep our eyes upon Him!

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is nothing we can do, other than accepting the free gift from God, to get us to heaven. Good works don’t get us there, but good works come when we have Jesus in our heart. We will want to do good, if Jesus is truly in our hearts.

Colossians 4:5-6

Walk in wisdom toward them that are outsiders, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man.

Some people can be very difficult to talk with. We need to pray and seek God when we are dealing with these people. If we let God’s Spirit guide us, our words and actions will be right.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

So many times, I find myself trying to be strong and do things my way. I am sorry Lord. I need to rely only upon You and Your Grace and Mercy. I am just a speck of dust, but You have given me life and blessed me. I owe all to You. It is only through God that I have what I have and He will keep me when times are tough. Thank You Father.

Hebrews 10:28-31

28He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

To know God and deny Him is so terrible. How anyone can, just makes me sad. God is going to send His Son soon and judgement will be immediate. God, You are awesome and powerful. Help us to walk in cleanness before You. In Jesus name I pray.

1 Corinthians 15:9-10

For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

I am in total understanding of what Paul said here; I too, was wicked and evil and I really don’t deserve the blessings God has given me. There are many people out there who are “good” and have been their whole lives–better than me anyway. This is why I do this blog daily; this is why I try to be right in all the ways I can, not because I have too, but because I want to. I want my Father to smile when He sees what I have become, not weep. I have caused many people misery over the years; and to any that may read this, I am sorry. I wish I could take back all the wrongs I did, but I do know this; God will make all those wrongs blessings. I will keep striving to do the will the Father has for me and keep running this race that at times seems impossible. Only with God’s grace can I finish. Help God; please!

I try very hard to have this be my prayer at all times; I hope that I can speak with and answer men and women the way God wants at all times. We all should always pray this so that others will not take offense but will want to have Jesus too!

Titus 2:11

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men

Notice He says ALL MEN. God’s grace is there and in front of all people–everyone. If we understand and recognize it, our judging others may be lessened. God uses the foolish to confound the wise. That bum you see on the street corner today may very well have a direct path to heaven just as any of us do.

Hebrews 12:28-29

Therefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

God does not change, we do! The gift of grace He has given us is immeasurable. Grace is really all we have. Do we recognize it? Is awe and reverence for our Father a everyday part of our lives or do we just assume? Whatever or wherever You want God; lead me, show me; I want to do our will for my life. Praise Your Holiness!
