Then Job arose, and tore his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshiped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there: the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
Job understood something here that we all need to understand; God will and does do what is best to complete His will. We may not understand, but there is a good reason. God’s plan will reign over any plans we may have. If God deems fit that everything we have be taken away, He knows best. If God gives us material blessings, it too, is in His plan. No matter the circumstances, He is our Father and knows best. All praise to God!
That we from now on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, who is the head, even Christ:
If we are living in Christ and reading the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will guide and lead us. Just because someone says, “This is the way” doesn’t mean it is actually so. The Word of God shows us everything we need; everything! Another key here is, we speak the truth in love; not in a “I’m better than you” tone or attitude. We are all God’s creatures and no one is better than another. I needed this today also; Thank you God!
