1Kings 8: 54-61

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven. And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us: That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers. And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require: That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else. Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

Solomon showed us here how we can come to God in a way that is pleasing to our Maker. He does hear us as long as we walk as sons and daughters of Him. We must always support God’s people Israel no matter what the world tells us. We also must always be willing to claim Him in everything. As the last 2 verses say…there is no other God, and our hearts must be right and perfect before Him. How is your heart with God?

Psalm 80

1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock!
You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh,
stir up your might
and come to save us!

3 Restore us,a O God;
let your face shine, that we may be saved!

4 O Lord God of hosts,
how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears
and given them tears to drink in full measure.
6 You make us an object of contention for our neighbors,
and our enemies laugh among themselves.

7 Restore us, O God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved!

8 You brought a vine out of Egypt;
you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it;
it took deep root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 It sent out its branches to the sea
and its shoots to the River.b
12 Why then have you broken down its walls,
so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit?
13 The boar from the forest ravages it,
and all that move in the field feed on it.

14 Turn again, O God of hosts!
Look down from heaven, and see;
have regard for this vine,
15 the stock that your right hand planted,
and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.
16 They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down;
may they perish at the rebuke of your face!
17 But let your hand be on the man of your right hand,
the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself!
18 Then we shall not turn back from you;
give us life, and we will call upon your name!

19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts!
Let your face shine, that we may be saved!

3Oh Dios, restáuranos; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

Haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

This Psalm is so beautiful. A song of desire for God to come down and be in the hearts of man. To be our breath, our life, our whole being. We cannot live without God. If He is not within, we are without; we are dead without Him. Sure our heart may be beating and we may be walking, but without Him, we are zombies. Sing this song today. Praise our God!

Ezekiel 18: 29-32

29Yet said the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, said the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel? 32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, said the Lord GOD: why turn yourselves, and live you.

So many of us, me included, think that things are not fair. Many of the world’s ways are not fair, but God is completely fair. He gives us opportunity after opportunity. He wants all to live and worship Him. ALL! I want to give you all praise and honor oh God. Please keep us in your Holy Hands and keep us from evil, so that we will not hurt You.

Jeremiah 18:6

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

God can mold us and form us, but when we try to do it our way, we become like clay that is damaged and God can and will crush it and start over. If we allow the Master to work us in His way, we will develop into a magnificent piece of art. Don’t fight the Potter, let Him mold you.

Nehemiah 13:1-2

On that day they read in the book of Moses in the hearing of the people; and in it was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God forever; Because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: however our God turned the curse into a blessing.

When we obey God, nothing, absolutely nothing can come against us. He will turn every bad meant against us into good. Trust that, He will!

1 Kings 17:1-6

1And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

God is our provider! When we show faith, He will give us our needs. Just like Elijah, if we do according to what God has planned for us and do not turn ourselves, He will sustain us. We are His and He wants the very best for us.

Mark 15:29-32

And they that passed by derided him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, you that destroy the temple, and build it in three days, Save yourself, and come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

So many seem to be doing the same to Jesus now days as what was done on this day. Do we expect Him to do miracles so that we can believe? We have seen blessings and miracles and we still expect and expect. Are we spitting on Jesus? Do we truly believe? I praise and thank You Jesus for not coming down from that cross that day; I thank You that You gave me a way to the Father knowing that I could not live up to the law. Praise be to our Savior!

Exodus 6:5-7

And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. Therefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

Even like the days of old, God hears us today. If you are in bondage from anything, God can and will free you; just cry out! God’s promises are true and sure and He wants us to be with Him and worship Him. He wants to bless us, but do we want the blessings? I praise Him for all He has done for me; for the talents and the mercy He has given me. I really dread to even think where I would be without Him. Praise Him people; lift up your hands and your voices and praise Him!

Psalms 78:53-58

And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased. He cast out the nations also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents. Yet they tested and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies: But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow. For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

God keeps us safe and is before us when enemies come against us. I pray I act not like these people and turn away. God please forgive me if I have turned to the right or left. I ask You to help me please keep my eyes always on You. You have blessed me in so many ways and I just have  praise for You; that is all I have to offer You my Lord and King. Thank You Father, thank You Jesus and thanks to the Holy Spirit!

2 Chronicles 9:5-8

And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts, and of your wisdom: However I believed not their words, until I came, and my eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me: for you exceed the fame that I heard. Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you, and hear your wisdom. Blessed be the LORD your God, who delighted in you to set you on his throne, to be king for the LORD your God: because your God loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore he made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.

God put Solomon into power and He led the Queen of Sheba on a long journey to see this wisdom firsthand. If we listen and heed God, people will also come from afar to hear the Spirit of God that uses our lives. Leta all let God do His perfect work and happiness will set fire in all hearts! Praise God forevermore!
