Luke 24: 44-48

Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

Jesus made some mighty promises just before He ascended to the Father. It is our duty and desire to pass our blessing onto others. He has given us the will and power to do so. We cannot allow the world to delegate what we preach about Jesus and His mighty love for us. Lets DO IT! Praise our wonderful Lord!

Revelation 3:11-12

Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown. He that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

We have a call to stand strong in the duty we have been called to. God’s grace gives us that strength, and with prayer, He will help us through. The attacks may come, but stand in Jesus and all will come out great!

Ezra 2:68-69

And some of the heads of the fathers’ houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in its place: They gave according to their ability to the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.

Everything we have belongs to God; He just lets us use it. We are to give towards the Kingdom when led too. You will know, because that small inner voice will tell you. Our will should always be God’s will. Having others to be able to worship God in a sanctified place should always be at the top of our list.

This scripture should give us all inspiration to keep walking in the will of God. Sometimes it is hard to stand for what we know is true and right, but it is our duty. A reward like no other will be given us. Stand with God and He will hold us up. Praise His Name!

Jeremiah 44:4-6

4Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. 5But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. 6Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

These words were not just for back then, they are for now too. Unless mankind starts listening and heeding what God wants, He will destroy all there is. He has allowed man to choose the path he wants to take and many are turning away from God. God has blessed us and many want to claim it was something else. Turn off the TV, put away the sin and deception that is controlling. Pick up the Bible and listen to the men and women of God! Bow down before Him and repent. It is not too late, but it is getting close.

Psalm 125:1-2

They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from this time forth even forever.

What a wonderful promise! Just trust in God and He will surround us with His love and mercy. He is our strength and He is our protector. For eternity, not just days or years, but forever God is with us and will comfort and defend us. Praise Him, oh praise Him!!!!

Amos 1:1-2

The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

If possible I would post the whole book of Amos; I suggest you read it. I believe Amos prophesied of what is happening today. We look at Syria, Egypt, the West bank, Iraq, Lebanon, etc… and see chaotic actions. Man must come to the realization that we are not above God; we are nothing without His all encompassing love. Father God, please show grace and mercy and help the people know that You are and no other. Please step on Satan and banish his deception from before mankind. Your love and mercy is unmovable and I cry out to you. Praise Your Holy Name. In Jesus’ name amen.
