1 Timothy 1: 5-8

The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions. Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully

It is easy for us as Christians to get caught up in pointing fingers at others. We see a sin or a mistake they make and we forget how many we have made. Are we living in the Holy Spirit or in the law?

Ephesians 2:4-7

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;) 6And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

God’s great plan calls for us all to have the opportunity to be saved. He knows what we will choose, and even if we were still leading a sinful life, He chose and helps us get past the sin and into a relationship with Jesus. His grace is amazing. Rejoice in God!

Psalm 117

1O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

2For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

1 Alabad al SEÑOR, naciones todas;

All nations must worship and adore Him. God is great and mighty, He loves all and wants us to give our cares to Him. Sing and praise to God almighty!

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

But in all things presenting ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, it doesn’t mean everything is going to be “jim dandy” here on Earth for us. There will be those who come against us. Our duty is to stay in prayer and in the Word and to keep on keeping on. We need only look at the end and our reward; everlasting life with God. God has us in His palm and as long as we don’t jump out of it, all things will work in His will. No matter if we are beat, imprisoned, or even killed, it is God’s will and will work towards that perfect end. Oh Father, help me to always trust and rely on You and only You! Praise you God; In Jesus’ name!
