For the Lord will not
cast off forever,
but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion
according to the abundance of his steadfast love;
for he does not afflict from his heart
or grieve the children of men.
No matter what we are going through; no matter what we are facing, God is with us, as long as our trust is in Him. Don’t let circumstances dictate your Godly peace. He provides….Receive.
“Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask.
“Why does he speak to us like this?
Are we little children,
just recently weaned?
He tells us everything over and over—
one line at a time,
one line at a time,
a little here,
and a little there!”
So now God will have to speak to his people
through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!
God has told his people,
“Here is a place of rest;
let the weary rest here.
This is a place of quiet rest.”
But they would not listen.
So the Lord will spell out his message for them again,
one line at a time,
one line at a time,
a little here,
and a little there,
so that they will stumble and fall.
They will be injured, trapped, and captured.
¿A quién enseñará conocimiento,
al cual había dicho: Aquí hay reposo, dad reposo al cansado;
y sean enlazados y apresados.
Do we actually think we know more than God? We act like it quite often.
God is orderly; He is a God of order. Today’s world may have some wondering, but it isn’t God that has caused the chaos and disorder, it is us humans. It is our greed; it is our jealousy; it is our lying, cheating and stealing. It is our sin.
God will bring us back to Him, and He will do it in what seems harsh ways. He will allow extreme circumstances to make us realize that He is the one who we worship.
Look around at the world and its stresses. It can be fixed, not by judges, juries and executioners, but by we humans falling down and worshiping Jesus. It is through prayer and calling to our mighty God we will be able to overcome.
Time to turn off the tv, the internet and all the other items that are taking away from time with God.
This post is not pointing fingers–well, yes it is…I am pointing the fingers at myself.
We have a great and awesome God who loves and cares for us–Precept upon precept and line upon line, He will bring us back. We can do it the easy way or the hard way–either way
If anyone doesn’t love the Lord, let him be condemned! May our Lord come!
¡Maranata!
Paul wrote this towards the end of his first letter to the Corinthians. They are very strong words, but needed to be said. there are times we need to hold some of our words back, but other times they need to be strong and with authority. Yes, those that do not love Jesus, they are cursed. We do not need to curse them, because they are cursing themselves. When someone says a stupid joke about Jesus, or takes his name in vain, do we laugh or let it go? We shouldn’t! Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Those people who do such things need to hear the truth. Don’t let our Lord be attacked! That is our responsibility.
Then he said, “I tell all of you with certainty, unless you change and become like little children, you will never get into the kingdom from heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom from heaven, and whoever receives a little child like this in my name receives me.” If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a large millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned at the bottom of the sea.”
Children are pure and clean at birth. It is we who teach them to sin. Do we understand the implications of doing that? These words from Jesus tell us the penalty. The next time you are considering using bad language, watching a lustful show, or any other thing that does not give glory to God in front of a child, consider this scripture. Children are the future!

Now the angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, “I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land which I have sworn to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you, and as for you, you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed Me; what is this you have done? “Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they will become as thorns in your sides and their gods will be a snare to you.’”
We often wonder why God allows murders, terrorist activities, and wars. look at this passage; if we as humans would listen and follow the path God tells us to take, all will be well. The Israelites did not follow all that God told them and this is why the world is the way it is. It isn’t all their fault. We all have not listened to God at times and generations to come will pay for our non-adherence. God gave us freewill and in some ways it has made things difficult; not because God gave it to us, but because we use our freewill for greed and our own pride. We all must not blame God…we need to look in the mirror and blame the one who really is at fault. It is my fault Father, and I ask you to step in and fix the screw ups I have made. Praise You God!
because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the disaster that I will bring upon this place and its inhabitants.’” And they brought back word to the king.
This prophecy is as good now as it was then. Who will humble themselves before God? This world and the people have fallen away, but God will save and protect those who fall down and worship Him. He is speaking! Are you listening? Worship and adore our great and mighty God, and you will come through unharmed.
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
Sometimes our mouths can speak some very damaging things. Our speech can be a very strong weapon; it must be handled accordingly. If we ask God to help us use our words properly, and to His glory, God will bless us.
Where no wood is, there the fire goes out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceases.
It is gossip that causes the majority of problems. When gossip doesn’t happen, usually most problems soon fade away. Gossip has caused many of the most violent acts in history. Let’s all stay away from that evil thing called gossip.
Whosoever digs a pit shall fall in it: and he that rolls a stone, it will return upon him.
For those of us that have thoughts of revenge or attacking another person in secret, we need to take this scripture seriously. For those of us who have been attacked or certain individuals are devising plots against you, Trust God! Their own devices will come back upon them. When people lie against you, their lies will be uncovered. It may take a lot of time, but God does Justice in His time. His time is the best time. I have seen it and know. Praise His Holy Name!
1Him that is weak in the faith receive you, but not to doubtful disputations. 2For one believes that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eats herbs. 3Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him which eats not judge him that eats: for God has received him. 4Who are you that judge another man’s servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.
Many times, a new believer walks away because “old believers” try to throw law after law at them. Let the Holy Spirit do the work with new believers. It is not our place to judge them and tell them “how” to do it. God works with each of us in slightly different ways and we need to allow Him to. As long as a person confesses Jesus is Lord of their life, give them love and encouragement and God will do the rest.
