Romans 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Is being a Christian a weakness? No way! It is strength and power, because we have the Father on our side. This world can and will treat us like we are the weak ones when in all actuality, they are the weak ones. Faith is our strength, prayer is our weapon. Salvation is free to all men and women and all that must be done is to reach out and take it. Maria and I were wondering this morning how anyone can live without God in their hearts. In all actuality, they are not living, but are walking dead. Lets not be ashamed of sharing Jesus; He is the only safety that any of us have. Share Him!

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

But in all things presenting ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings; By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, it doesn’t mean everything is going to be “jim dandy” here on Earth for us. There will be those who come against us. Our duty is to stay in prayer and in the Word and to keep on keeping on. We need only look at the end and our reward; everlasting life with God. God has us in His palm and as long as we don’t jump out of it, all things will work in His will. No matter if we are beat, imprisoned, or even killed, it is God’s will and will work towards that perfect end. Oh Father, help me to always trust and rely on You and only You! Praise you God; In Jesus’ name!

Jeremiah 51:15-16

He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heaven by his understanding. When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth: he makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his storehouses.

Why do men and women not recognize the awesome power of God? He is our lifeforce; He made us and it is our duty and our happiness to worship Him. He could destroy us at a moments notice, but God’s love for us keeps Him from doing so. Why do we push Him? Bow down before Him right now and give Him your worship; praise His Holiness. Lift your eyes and heart to God!
