Jonah 3

And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

I have neglected this blog as of late, and I feel bad because of it. I have been caught up in the freelancing work I do along with the new website I have developed:

These are not good excuses at all for neglecting the Word of God. Just as Jonah went against God’s calling, I have done the same. No whale has swallowed me, but I did finally receive a picture and short letter from my Grandson Elijah yesterday. He was adopted and I was moved to tears. God has heard my prayer and allowed me to have some contact with this dear boy that I love very much.

My point in all of this is: we have missions in this life. I have been worried about making a living and have turned from the responsibilities I have of God. I first ask His forgiveness and also yours. May your day, your week and your years be full of God’s Grace, Mercy and Love.

God loves us!

Hebrews 1

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

For to which of the angels did God ever say,

“You are my Son,
today I have begotten you”?

Or again,

“I will be to him a father,
and he shall be to me a son”?

And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Of the angels he says,

“He makes his angels winds,

and his ministers a flame of fire.”

But of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.”

And to which of the angels has he ever said,

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

What could I say that Paul didn’t say? Read it over…JESUS IS GOD!

I am tired of anyone or any entity trying to claim He isn’t.

How will they react when they have to bow before our mighty Lord and rebuke themselves.

Repent and live, or keep denying and burn.

Jesus is God, because the Father says so–that is right, the Great Father God made Jesus, His Son God. Jesus made the Holy Spirit God, so we have a tri-fold God…no, not three Gods, but one God in 3.

Read it again…and again…and again

Jesus is God!

Joel 2:12-27

As I opened the Word, this scripture in Joel was enlightened. Please read it carefully and share. We are called to repent!

Therefore also now, said the LORD, turn you even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.

Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering to the LORD your God?

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: why should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Yes, the LORD will answer and say to his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill smell shall come up, because he has done great things.

Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Be not afraid, you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

And you shall know that I am in the middle of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

 Aun ahora–declara el SEÑOR
volved a mí de todo corazón,
          con ayuno, llanto y lamento.
 Rasgad vuestro corazón y no vuestros vestidos;
volved ahora al SEÑOR vuestro Dios,
porque El es compasivo y clemente,
lento para la ira, abundante en misericordia,
y se arrepiente de infligir el mal.
¿Quién sabe si volverá y se apiadará,
          y dejará tras sí bendición,
es decir, ofrenda de cereal y libación
          para el SEÑOR vuestro Dios?
 Tocad trompeta en Sion,
          promulgad ayuno, convocad asamblea,
y digan: Perdona, oh SEÑOR, a tu pueblo,

He aquí, yo os enviaré grano, mosto y aceite,
No temas, oh tierra, regocíjate y alégrate,
          y alegraos en el SEÑOR vuestro Dios;
          que ha obrado maravillosamente con vosotros;
          y no hay otro;
nunca jamás será avergonzado mi pueblo.

We also need to repent. We need to fall on our faces before the Lord. God will bless us and keep us as long as we turn all of ourselves over to Him. Let the ears hear!

Ezekiel 18: 29-32

29Yet said the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

30Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, said the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. 31Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel? 32For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, said the Lord GOD: why turn yourselves, and live you.

So many of us, me included, think that things are not fair. Many of the world’s ways are not fair, but God is completely fair. He gives us opportunity after opportunity. He wants all to live and worship Him. ALL! I want to give you all praise and honor oh God. Please keep us in your Holy Hands and keep us from evil, so that we will not hurt You.

Acts 2:37-39

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their hearts, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

God seeks all of us, ALL!  He is calling and all we need to do is call back. If we just ask Him, He will freely give us the free gift of everlasting life and eternal love. The Holy Spirit will live within us and will help guide us along that perfect path unto the Kingdom. By doing so, your children and their children will see and watch and will seek His everlasting life also. Do it for them. Your love for them asks for it. Praise our Holy God!
