Favor is better than silver and gold.
2The rich and the poor have a common bond,
The LORD is the maker of them all.
A rich or famous person is no better in God’s eyes than a poor person. God cares and loves all of us the same. We are all His creation and He has plans for every one. He wants us all to know and trust Him. The rich can learn from the poor, and the poor can learn from the rich; the key to that is, only if God is in the middle.
They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him
de los que confían en sus bienes y se jactan de la abundancia de sus riquezas? Nadie puede en manera alguna redimir a su hermano, ni dar a Dios rescate por él
Our wealth and material goods mean nothing. They really don’t mean squiddily. God doesn’t care about what we have, but He cares about our hearts. Do we trust Him? Sometimes He allows us not to have so that God can show us the blessings and grace He offers so freely. We need to trust Him. He is really all we need.
