Galatians 4:1-7

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

It is easy to think we are better than other people, or they may think they are better than us. Money and possessions don’t make us better. Power doesn’t make us better. Nothing makes us better than the other human. We are all children of the Living God. Whatever we have done and whatever we will do will not make anyone better. It just comes down to accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and mind you….that doesn’t make you better than the person who has not yet done that. When we completely realize that, there is a new freedom that only the Holy Spirit can provide.

Psalm 2:11-12

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

I love how long before Jesus came to Earth as a man, David spoke of Him with awe and admiration. We need to understand that God is everything–EVERYTHING. There is nothing more important in our lives than worshiping and serving God.

Matthew 28:19-20

Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus was very clear: we are to reach out. Reach out and not sit on our tails and worry about what we are building up. There are many out in this world that do not know and understand how the Kingdom of God works. We need to preach and teach as the Holy Spirit leads us.

Ezekiel 18:20-23

20The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

21But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. 22All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. 23Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

We can turn from sin and be righteous. God declared it even before Jesus came to the Earth to be our sacrifice. If we turn away from sin and live in a righteous path, always in prayer and listening to God, He will bless us with His best blessings and best of all…Eternal Life with Him!

Luke 9:25-26

For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or suffer loss? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

This world is not our world. We are here for a purpose. We are to help others know God; help others know Jesus. Being worried what others think of us is a lie from the devil.

Hebrews 7:24-28

24But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

26For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Jesus had no sins He had to account for as did other priests. He is the perfect High Priest who is able to go to the Father and beg mercy for us. He died for us. Do we realize just what He did for us, or do we take it for granted. Praise be Jesus, our High Priest and Savior!

Hebrews 12:6-8

For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not? But if you be without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then are you illegitimate children, and not sons.

Just like a regular Father, God disciplines us. I sometimes ask, “why God,” and several days later, I understand why. I thank God that He still does correct and disciplines me. If He didn’t, I wouldn’t feel loved. Thank You God.

Proverbs 3:11-12

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loves he corrects; even as a father the son in whom he delights.

God is the everlasting, perfect Father. He guides and corrects us for our own good. Sometimes, He needs to “spank” us. It IS for our own good, not because He likes to, but to make sure we follow the path He wants us on. Are you feeling “spanked”? Look at it with a new outlook; God loves you or He wouldn’t do anything. Thank You Daddy God; for all!

It is our duty to tell and teach Jesus to those who do not know Him. He says He is always with us so we need not fear going into dangerous or “bad” areas. It’s all about Jesus, not us. Praise Him, oh yea, Praise Him!

1 John 2:24-25

Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.

Don’t give up now! Boy, I needed this today and I have this inner feeling others will too. Eternal life is our destiny if we just hold on. Hold on to the promise; hold on to the Savior; Thank God Jesus is holding on to us. I am going to post a secular song today, but it fits the message. Hold on! Keep the words off the secular side and think about Jesus singing this to you.
