Ephesians 5: 15-17

Happy Thanksgiving!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

It is by the Bible, God’s Word and through prayer that we can walk in wisdom. The world and others may try to make us seem like fools, but as long as we stay in Him, He will carry us thru. The days ARE evil.

Isaiah 30:20-21

And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall your teachers not be moved into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers: And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.

God doesn’t give up on us like we do ourselves. We wonder sometimes why it seems bad things are happening. Could it be that God allows them to “wake us up”? He puts Preachers and Teachers all around, but do we listen. Are we just hearing what we want to and not what we need to? This scripture is very relevant here and now! Lord, please don’t give up on us even though we are hard-headed. Praise You!
