Ephesians 5: 15-17

Happy Thanksgiving!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

It is by the Bible, God’s Word and through prayer that we can walk in wisdom. The world and others may try to make us seem like fools, but as long as we stay in Him, He will carry us thru. The days ARE evil.

Matthew 26:39

And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.

God’s will is not necessarily our will. Jesus didn’t even want to pass through what He had in store, but He prayed God’s will, not His. This is why I want to be like Jesus–Not my will Father, only Your’s and Your’s only!
