Zephaniah 3:1-5

1Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!

2She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

3Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.

4Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

5The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

sus jueces, lobos al anochecer;
no dejan nada para la mañana.
4 Sus profetas son temerarios, hombres pérfidos;
sus sacerdotes han profanado el santuario,
han violado la ley.
5 El SEÑOR es justo en medio de ella;
no cometerá injusticia.
Cada mañana saca a luz su juicio,
nunca falta;
pero el injusto no conoce la vergüenza.

When I read this prophetic scripture, I am considering today’s world and the United States. Could we fit into this? We need to repent and do right. We need to seek the True and Living God! We need to fall down and worship before Him and ask His mercy. It says at the end the unjust know not shame. Do you feel shame when you do wrong, or is it just another thing? Cry out to Jesus and beg His grace and mercy upon mankind!

Acts 20: 29-30

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Sé que después de mi partida, vendrán lobos feroces entre vosotros que no perdonarán el rebaño, y que de entre vosotros mismos se levantarán algunos hablando cosas perversas para arrastrar a los discípulos tras ellos.

We see this all over the church now days. People are following people and not Jesus, nor reading and heeding the Word. Through study of God’s Word and prayer we can walk the path that God wants for us. Don’t follow man, follow God!

Luke 10:2-3

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

Y les decía: La mies es mucha, pero los obreros pocos; rogad, por tanto, al Señor de la mies que envíe obreros a su mies. Id; mirad que os envío como corderos en medio de lobos.

Do you ever feel like you are getting attacked from every side? If we are doing God’s will, we should. There are very few doing what God actually wants them to do; there are many who think they are and are actually doing their own thing and by doing so they are doing what the devil wants. There are wolves all around us, but like Daniel in the Lion’s den, we have a supernatural defense:God. Jesus is our defender, protector and guide. Listen to His Words and do His Will. You may feel attacked from every side, I know I do at times, but we know the end and who wins!
