1 John 3:18

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

This is where the saying, “walk the walk, don’t talk the talk” comes from. We can speak many things, but do our actions show it?

1 Kings 17:1-6

1And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

God is our provider! When we show faith, He will give us our needs. Just like Elijah, if we do according to what God has planned for us and do not turn ourselves, He will sustain us. We are His and He wants the very best for us.

John 17:14-17

14I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Oh Jesus spoke so much about us who abide in Him. He blessed us asking God to keep us from the evil. God does exactly that; there is tons of evil in this world but as long as we abide in Jesus, the evil has no part with us. The Truth(the Word) keeps us clean.

Isaiah 55:9-11

9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

no volverá a mí vacía

No matter how much we think we know, or how wise we think we are, we cannot comprehend all God is. We will never completely understand as long as we are here on Earth in our mortal ways. That is why the Holy Spirit is here to help us. If we live in prayer and reading the Word, God will show us our route. May His will be done in our lives.

God’s Words are ever powerful and they are doing His Will. It is my faith and His Word that keeps me going. In the end, God wins; as a matter of fact, He already won. When His Son, our Lord, arose from the grave; the war was won. We just need to catch up and realize that. God won–sing joy and praise!!!!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!!!!
