Luke 24: 44-48

Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.

 

Y les dijo: Esto es lo que yo os decía cuando todavía estaba con vosotros: que era necesario que se cumpliera todo lo que sobre mí está escrito en la ley de Moisés, en los profetas y en los salmos.  Entonces les abrió la mente para que comprendieran las Escrituras,  y les dijo: Así está escrito, que el Cristo padeciera y resucitara de entre los muertos al tercer día;  y que en su nombre se predicara el arrepentimiento para el perdón de los pecados a todas las naciones, comenzando desde Jerusalén.  Vosotros sois testigos de estas cosas.

 

Jesus made some mighty promises just before He ascended to the Father. It is our duty and desire to pass our blessing onto others. He has given us the will and power to do so. We cannot allow the world to delegate what we preach about Jesus and His mighty love for us. Lets DO IT! Praise our wonderful Lord!

 

Romans 6: 3-6

Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.

¿O no sabéis que todos los que hemos sido bautizados en Cristo Jesús, hemos sido bautizados en su muerte?  Por tanto, hemos sido sepultados con El por medio del bautismo para muerte, a fin de que como Cristo resucitó de entre los muertos por la gloria del Padre, así también nosotros andemos en novedad de vida.  Porque si hemos sido unidos a El en la semejanza de su muerte, ciertamente lo seremos también en la semejanza de su resurrección,  sabiendo esto, que nuestro viejo hombre fue crucificado con El , para que nuestro cuerpo de pecado fuera destruido, a fin de que ya no seamos esclavos del pecado;

We are not dead…we are alive because Jesus is alive. So why do some of us live as though we are dead? Sin doesn’t live with or in us, and sin is death. Be renewed today. Ask Jesus for that renewal and be prepared to live.

Psalm 11

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

En el SEÑOR me refugio;
          ¿cómo decís a mi alma: Huye cual ave al monte?
 Porque, he aquí, los impíos tensan el arco,
          preparan su saeta sobre la cuerda
          para flechar en lo oscuro a los rectos de corazón.

          ¿qué puede hacer el justo?
 El SEÑOR está en su santo templo, el trono del SEÑOR está en los cielos;

          los rectos contemplarán su rostro.

There are days when I also feel the wicked and evil are winning. I then realize that God is in control. There partial victory is only for a very short time. Praise God and His Son. It is by Him that we live and breathe. The evil onesshould fear, but through stupidity, they do not.

1John 5: 4-12

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. So we have these three witnesses— the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree. Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son.

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

Porque todo lo que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo. Y ésta es la victoria que ha vencido al mundo: nuestra fe.

¿Y quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios? Este es Aquél que vino mediante agua y sangre, Jesucristo; no sólo con agua, sino con agua y con sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio, porque el Espíritu es la verdad. Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo: el Padre, el Verbo (Jesucristo), y el Espíritu Santo, y estos tres son uno. Y tres son los que dan testimonio en la tierra: el Espíritu, el agua, y la sangre, y los tres concuerdan.

Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, mayor es el testimonio de Dios; porque éste es el testimonio de Dios: que El ha dado testimonio acerca de Su Hijo. El que cree en el Hijo de Dios tiene el testimonio en sí mismo. El que no cree a Dios, ha hecho a Dios mentiroso, porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha dado respecto a Su Hijo. Y el testimonio es éste: que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna, y esta vida está en Su Hijo. El que tiene al Hijo tiene la vida, y el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la vida.

It is only through God that we have life. If we seem to be alive, but we do not have Jesus in our hearts, we are dead. Just because a person walks, eats, and sleeps doesn’t mean they are alive. Our life is in the Savior. As we can see through this scripture, it is all based on 3; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our life is also in 3 if we live; the Spirit, the blood and the water.

Be baptized into the love of Jesus and be willing to let your blood flow for His glory. That is our reason, our duty and shows our devotion.

Praise our Holy God!

Hebrews 1

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

For to which of the angels did God ever say,

“You are my Son,
today I have begotten you”?

Or again,

“I will be to him a father,
and he shall be to me a son”?

And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Of the angels he says,

“He makes his angels winds,

and his ministers a flame of fire.”

But of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

And,

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.”

And to which of the angels has he ever said,

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

 Dios, habiendo hablado hace mucho tiempo, en muchas ocasiones y de muchas maneras a los padres por los profetas,  en estos últimos días nos ha hablado por su Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todas las cosas, por medio de quien hizo también el universo.  El es el resplandor de su gloria y la expresión exacta de su naturaleza, y sostiene todas las cosas por la palabra de su poder. Después de llevar a cabo la purificación de los pecados, se sentó a la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,  siendo mucho mejor que los ángeles, por cuanto ha heredado un nombre más excelente que ellos.

    Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás:
          HIJO MIO ERES TU,
          YO TE HE ENGENDRADO HOY;
          y otra vez:
          YO SERE PADRE PARA EL,
          Y EL SERA HIJO PARA MI?
  Y de nuevo, cuando trae al Primogénito al mundo, dice:
          Y ADORENLE TODOS LOS ANGELES DE DIOS.
  Y de los ángeles dice:
          EL QUE HACE A SUS ANGELES, ESPIRITUS,
          Y A SUS MINISTROS, LLAMA DE FUEGO.
  Pero del Hijo dice:
          TU TRONO, OH DIOS, ES POR LOS SIGLOS DE LOS SIGLOS,
          Y CETRO DE EQUIDAD ES EL CETRO DE TU REINO.
 HAS AMADO LA JUSTICIA Y ABORRECIDO LA INIQUIDAD;
          POR LO CUAL DIOS, TU DIOS, TE HA UNGIDO
          CON OLEO DE ALEGRIA MAS QUE A TUS COMPAÑEROS.
  Y:
          TU, SEÑOR, EN EL PRINCIPIO PUSISTE LOS CIMIENTOS DE LA TIERRA,
    Y LOS CIELOS SON OBRA DE TUS MANOS;
ELLOS PERECERAN, PERO TU PERMANECES;
          Y TODOS ELLOS COMO UNA VESTIDURA SE ENVEJECERAN,
 Y COMO UN MANTO LOS ENROLLARAS;
          COMO UNA VESTIDURA SERAN MUDADOS.

PERO TU ERES EL MISMO,
          Y TUS AÑOS NO TENDRAN FIN.
  Pero, ¿a cuál de los ángeles ha dicho jamás:
          SIENTATE A MI DIESTRA
          HASTA QUE PONGA A TUS ENEMIGOS
          POR ESTRADO DE TUS PIES?
  ¿No son todos ellos espíritus ministradores, enviados para servir por causa de los que heredarán la salvación.

I am tired of anyone or any entity trying to claim He isn’t.

How will they react when they have to bow before our mighty Lord and rebuke themselves.

Repent and live, or keep denying and burn.

Jesus is God, because the Father says so–that is right, the Great Father God made Jesus, His Son God. Jesus made the Holy Spirit God, so we have a tri-fold God…no, not three Gods, but one God in 3.

Mark 12:38-40

As he taught, he said, “Beware of the scribes! They like to walk around in long robes, to be greeted in the marketplaces, and to have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows’ houses and say long prayers to cover it up. They will receive greater condemnation!”

Y en su enseñanza les decía: Cuidaos de los escribas, a quienes les gusta andar con vestiduras largas, y aman los saludos respetuosos en las plazas,  los primeros asientos en las sinagogas y los lugares de honor en los banquetes;  que devoran las casas de las viudas, y por las apariencias hacen largas oraciones; éstos recibirán mayor condenación.

As I look and watch many venues in these days and times, it is really no different than what the scribes were doing in the days that Jesus walked the Earth. I see those who claim Jesus as Lord and preach at others, and turn and rob, steal, cheat and lie. Jesus was clear here that there are levels of condemnation. Some are ignorant of the sins they are performing, and others know full well what they are doing, and some do them in the name of Jesus. God is a great and merciful Lord, but He will not see men and women walk on and step on His beloved children. He will perform acts of pure justice; not justice as the world sees justice, but an almighty justice that is far above anything any earthly judge or jury can perform.

After reading this, please do not start pointing fingers. Look in the mirror. How have you been with God? I know I have committed treacherous acts, and I cry out right here; right now for cleansing. How about you?

God has a plan. We sometimes just do not comprehend why we face hardships or difficulties, but His plan is true and sure. As we go through difficult times, let’s look upon Jesus and his endurance of the Cross. Nothing we are facing is even close to what He faced.

There is a reason, and our blessings will come. Trust and Faith in the Almighty is our main objective. If we do that, all will be well, because God’s plan will prevail.

1 Corinthians 16:22

If anyone doesn’t love the Lord, let him be condemned! May our Lord come!

Si alguno no ama al Señor, que sea anatema. ¡Maranata!

Paul wrote this towards the end of his first letter to the Corinthians. They are very strong words, but needed to be said. there are times we need to hold some of our words back, but other times they need to be strong and with authority. Yes, those that do not love Jesus, they are cursed. We do not need to curse them, because they are cursing themselves. When someone says a stupid joke about Jesus, or takes his name in vain, do we laugh or let it go? We shouldn’t! Jesus is our Lord and Savior. Those people who do such things need to hear the truth. Don’t let our Lord be attacked! That is our responsibility.

y dijo: En verdad os digo que si no os convertís y os hacéis como niños, no entraréis en el reino de los cielos.  Así pues, cualquiera que se humille como este niño, ése es el mayor en el reino de los cielos.  Y el que reciba a un niño como éste en mi nombre, a mí me recibe.  Pero al que haga tropezar a uno de estos pequeñitos que creen en mí, mejor le sería que le colgaran al cuello una piedra de molino de las que mueve un asno, y que se ahogara en lo profundo del mar.

It is by prayer that we all survive. We think that so many other things keep us surviving, but the fact comes down to prayer. God is our provider, our comfort and our salvation. He is our life force and thru prayer we are moving and living. Let us pray for each other and give thanks to God. That is what we are here to do.
