Isaiah 66: 3-5

“But he who kills an ox is like one who slays a man;
            He who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s neck;
            He who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s blood;
            He who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol.
            As they have chosen their own ways,
            And their soul delights in their abominations,

      So I will choose their punishments
            And will bring on them what they dread.
            Because I called, but no one answered;
            I spoke, but they did not listen.
            And they did evil in My sight
            And chose that in which I did not delight.”

      Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at His word:
            “Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you for My name’s sake,
            Have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy.’
            But they will be put to shame.

 

El que sacrifica buey, es como si matase un hombre; el que sacrifica oveja, como si degollase un perro; el que ofrece presente, como si ofreciese sangre de puerco; el que quema incienso, como si bendijese a un ídolo. Y porque han escogido sus propios caminos, y su alma amó sus abominaciones,

también yo escogeré sus escarnios, y traeré sobre ellos lo que temieron; porque llamé, y nadie respondió; hablé, y no oyeron; antes hicieron lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogieron lo que no me agrada.

Oíd palabra de Jehová, vosotros los que tembláis a su palabra: Vuestros hermanos que os aborrecen, y os echan fuera por causa de mi nombre, dijeron: Jehová sea glorificado. Mas Él se mostrará para alegría vuestra, y ellos serán confundidos.

 

Hypocrisy can be a terrible thing. There are many, and I have been guilty of such, who try to tell others how to do it-how to live in God’s ways, but they do not look in the mirror of their own souls. None of us completely know what all God is doing. He uses the simple things to aggravate the worldly wise things.

It is quite evident in this that we should follow God’s path for our own lives, but do not necessarily think that your neighbor should follow that same path.

It is our position to share our gift of grace with others, in love…but not to tell them how they need to live the life God has for them.

The law is the law….and Grace is grace-the gift of our wonderful Savior!

1John 5: 4-12

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. So we have these three witnesses— the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree. Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son.

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

Porque todo lo que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo. Y ésta es la victoria que ha vencido al mundo: nuestra fe.

¿Y quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios? Este es Aquél que vino mediante agua y sangre, Jesucristo; no sólo con agua, sino con agua y con sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio, porque el Espíritu es la verdad. Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo: el Padre, el Verbo (Jesucristo), y el Espíritu Santo, y estos tres son uno. Y tres son los que dan testimonio en la tierra: el Espíritu, el agua, y la sangre, y los tres concuerdan.

Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, mayor es el testimonio de Dios; porque éste es el testimonio de Dios: que El ha dado testimonio acerca de Su Hijo. El que cree en el Hijo de Dios tiene el testimonio en sí mismo. El que no cree a Dios, ha hecho a Dios mentiroso, porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha dado respecto a Su Hijo. Y el testimonio es éste: que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna, y esta vida está en Su Hijo. El que tiene al Hijo tiene la vida, y el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la vida.

It is only through God that we have life. If we seem to be alive, but we do not have Jesus in our hearts, we are dead. Just because a person walks, eats, and sleeps doesn’t mean they are alive. Our life is in the Savior. As we can see through this scripture, it is all based on 3; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our life is also in 3 if we live; the Spirit, the blood and the water.

Be baptized into the love of Jesus and be willing to let your blood flow for His glory. That is our reason, our duty and shows our devotion.

Zephaniah 2:3

Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land,
who do his just commands;
seek righteousness; seek humility;
perhaps you may be hidden
on the day of the anger of the Lord.

Busquen al SEÑOR, Todos ustedes, humildes de la tierra Que han cumplido Sus preceptos; Busquen la justicia, busquen la humildad. Quizá serán protegidos El día de la ira del SEÑOR.

God cannot and will not allow the evil and injustice keep prevailing on this Earth. He has allowed it for a time, but there will be a day when his wrath will prevail over all the wrong. This tells us how we can escape and hide in His amazing love.

Ephesians 5: 15-17

Happy Thanksgiving!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Por tanto, tened cuidado cómo andáis; no como insensatos, sino como sabios,  aprovechando bien el tiempo, porque los días son malos.  Así pues, no seáis necios, sino entended cuál es la voluntad del Señor

It is by the Bible, God’s Word and through prayer that we can walk in wisdom. The world and others may try to make us seem like fools, but as long as we stay in Him, He will carry us thru. The days ARE evil.

Lamentations 3: 31-33

For the Lord will not
cast off forever,
but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion
according to the abundance of his steadfast love;
for he does not afflict from his heart
or grieve the children of men.

Porque no rechaza para siempre el Señor,
 antes bien, si aflige, también se compadecerá
          según su gran misericordia.
 Porque El no castiga por gusto,
          ni aflige a los hijos de los hombres.

No matter what we are going through; no matter what we are facing, God is with us, as long as our trust is in Him. Don’t let circumstances dictate your Godly peace. He provides….Receive.

Nahum 1: 7-8

The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him.

But with an overflowing flood
he will make a complete end of the adversaries,
and will pursue his enemies into darkness.

 

Bueno es el SEÑOR,
          una fortaleza en el día de la angustia,
          y conoce a los que en El se refugian.

 Pero con inundación desbordante
          pondrá fin a Nínive,
          y perseguirá a sus enemigos aun en las tinieblas.

 

God does know who is with and who is against Him. Some may be able to “fake” there way in this world, but God knows. My only hiding place is God. My only comfort is God. Everything I have is from God, and I can only praise God. All honor and praise to God!

 

John 21: 1-6

After these things Jesus manifested Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He manifested Himself in this way. Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We will also come with you.” They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing.

      But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. So Jesus said to them, “Children, you do not have any fish, do you?” They answered Him, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.” So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish.

 

Después de esto, Jesús se manifestó otra vez a los discípulos junto al mar de Tiberias, y se manifestó de esta manera:  Estaban juntos Simón Pedro, Tomás llamado el Dídimo, Natanael de Caná de Galilea, los hijos de Zebedeo y otros dos de sus discípulos.  Simón Pedro les dijo: Me voy a pescar. Ellos le dijeron: Nosotros también vamos contigo. Fueron y entraron en la barca, y aquella noche no pescaron nada.  Cuando ya amanecía, Jesús estaba en la playa; pero los discípulos no sabían que era Jesús.  Entonces Jesús les dijo: Hijos, ¿acaso tenéis algún pescado? Le respondieron: No. Y El les dijo: Echad la red al lado derecho de la barca y hallaréis pesca. Entonces la echaron, y no podían sacarla por la gran cantidad de peces.

 

In many cases, we try to do the Lord’s work on our own….without Him.

We need to follow Him and His leading. It may seem like a no win situation, but that is when Jesus works best. Are we trusting Our Lord? Just because we think the fish are in one place, when He tells us to cast in another, we must.

 

 

Proverbs 28:20

A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

 

El hombre fiel abundará en bendiciones,
          pero el que se apresura a enriquecerse no quedará sin castigo.

 

Blessings are sometimes thought to be riches or material goods. I have learned there are many more blessings than things like that. Just the birds singing are a blessing. A smile from a little child is a blessing. A salute from a soldier is a blessing. The laughter of our mates is a blessing. Yes, sometimes money or a material item can be a blessing, but only when we realize it came from our Heavenly Father. Many who are rich are miserable, because they are always trying to protect those riches. Yes, Proverbs have many answers, do you read them consistently?

 

Hebrews 1

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

For to which of the angels did God ever say,

“You are my Son,
today I have begotten you”?

Or again,

“I will be to him a father,
and he shall be to me a son”?

And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says,

“Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Of the angels he says,

“He makes his angels winds,

and his ministers a flame of fire.”

But of the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.”

And,

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.”

And to which of the angels has he ever said,

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

 Dios, habiendo hablado hace mucho tiempo, en muchas ocasiones y de muchas maneras a los padres por los profetas,  en estos últimos días nos ha hablado por su Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todas las cosas, por medio de quien hizo también el universo.  El es el resplandor de su gloria y la expresión exacta de su naturaleza, y sostiene todas las cosas por la palabra de su poder. Después de llevar a cabo la purificación de los pecados, se sentó a la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,  siendo mucho mejor que los ángeles, por cuanto ha heredado un nombre más excelente que ellos.

    Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás:
          HIJO MIO ERES TU,
          YO TE HE ENGENDRADO HOY;
          y otra vez:
          YO SERE PADRE PARA EL,
          Y EL SERA HIJO PARA MI?
  Y de nuevo, cuando trae al Primogénito al mundo, dice:
          Y ADORENLE TODOS LOS ANGELES DE DIOS.
  Y de los ángeles dice:
          EL QUE HACE A SUS ANGELES, ESPIRITUS,
          Y A SUS MINISTROS, LLAMA DE FUEGO.
  Pero del Hijo dice:

PERO TU ERES EL MISMO,
          Y TUS AÑOS NO TENDRAN FIN.
  Pero, ¿a cuál de los ángeles ha dicho jamás:
          SIENTATE A MI DIESTRA
          HASTA QUE PONGA A TUS ENEMIGOS
          POR ESTRADO DE TUS PIES?
  ¿No son todos ellos espíritus ministradores, enviados para servir por causa de los que heredarán la salvación.

What could I say that Paul didn’t say? Read it over…JESUS IS GOD!

I am tired of anyone or any entity trying to claim He isn’t.

How will they react when they have to bow before our mighty Lord and rebuke themselves.

Repent and live, or keep denying and burn.

Jesus is God, because the Father says so–that is right, the Great Father God made Jesus, His Son God. Jesus made the Holy Spirit God, so we have a tri-fold God…no, not three Gods, but one God in 3.

Read it again…and again…and again

Jesus is God!

Isaiah 28: 9-13

“Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask.

“Why does he speak to us like this?

Are we little children,

just recently weaned?

He tells us everything over and over—

one line at a time,

one line at a time,

a little here,

and a little there!”

So now God will have to speak to his people

through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!

God has told his people,

“Here is a place of rest;

let the weary rest here.

This is a place of quiet rest.”

But they would not listen.

So the Lord will spell out his message for them again,

one line at a time,

one line at a time,

a little here,

and a little there,

so that they will stumble and fall.

They will be injured, trapped, and captured.

¿A quién enseñará conocimiento,
          o a quién interpretará el mensaje?
          ¿A los recién destetados?
          ¿A los recién quitados de los pechos?
 Porque dice:
          “Mandato sobre mandato, mandato sobre mandato,
          línea sobre línea, línea sobre línea,
          un poco aquí, un poco allá.
 En verdad, con tartamudez de labios
          y en lengua extranjera, El hablará a este pueblo,
 al cual había dicho: Aquí hay reposo, dad reposo al cansado;
          y: Aquí hay descanso. Pero no quisieron escuchar.
 Por lo cual la palabra del SEÑOR para ellos será:
          Mandato sobre mandato, mandato sobre mandato,
          línea sobre línea, línea sobre línea,
          un poco aquí, un poco allá,
          para que vayan y caigan de espaldas,
          se quiebren los huesos,
          y sean enlazados y apresados.

Do we actually think we know more than God? We act like it quite often.

God is orderly; He is a God of order. Today’s world may have some wondering, but it isn’t God that has caused the chaos and disorder, it is us humans. It is our greed; it is our jealousy; it is our lying, cheating and stealing. It is our sin.

God will bring us back to Him, and He will do it in what seems harsh ways. He will allow extreme circumstances to make us realize that He is the one who we worship.

Look around at the world and its stresses. It can be fixed, not by judges, juries and executioners, but by we humans falling down and worshiping Jesus. It is through prayer and calling to our mighty God we will be able to overcome.

Time to turn off the tv, the internet and all the other items that are taking away from time with God.

This post is not pointing fingers–well, yes it is…I am pointing the fingers at myself.

We have a great and awesome God who loves and cares for us–Precept upon precept and line upon line, He will bring us back. We can do it the easy way or the hard way–either way
