Galatians 6:3-5

For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor. For each will have to bear his own load.

No matter what, no man or woman is better than the next. No matter where we have been, what we are doing or anything of such nature, we are all nothing. We all only have one way to Heaven because no matter what we have done, be it what we consider good or bad…none of us have, or ever can do enough good to go to Heaven. It is only God’s Grace that can take us to Heaven. It is only by the Blood of Jesus. There is only one thing we can do to get there–accept the free gift. If you have already…Praise God. If you haven’t, the time is now. It is as simple as just Thanking Jesus for dying for you, and asking Him into your life. He stands before you now waiting. Just ask.

If you aren’t sure if a brother or sister has accepted Jesus, please share it with them.

Galatians 6: 9

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

We see many who are doing bad getting what looks like a reward. This scripture reminds us that as long as we stand strong in Jesus and doing what is right, the reward will come. We just keep doing it no matter how we are treated or what others think. It really doesn’t matter what any human thinks, what matters is what God thinks. He sees and knows all, and we all will be rewarded according to our behavior.

Galatians 4:1-7

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

It is easy to think we are better than other people, or they may think they are better than us. Money and possessions don’t make us better. Power doesn’t make us better. Nothing makes us better than the other human. We are all children of the Living God. Whatever we have done and whatever we will do will not make anyone better. It just comes down to accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and mind you….that doesn’t make you better than the person who has not yet done that. When we completely realize that, there is a new freedom that only the Holy Spirit can provide.

Galatians 6:1-2

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. Bear you one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

We sometimes can be very critical of others faults, not realizing our own. Do we consider that we can fall too? It is ok that we point out, but with love and understanding. God will bless us if we do it His way and not our own.

Galatians 2:21

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

“Am I doing this right? Am I doing that right?” Sometimes we get so caught up in the laws, that we forget that no matter what we do, we are not good enough. Billy Graham wasn’t good enough and Mother Teresa wasn’t good enough. It is only God’s grace that makes us good enough. If we listen and heed the Holy Spirit, God will guide us.

Galatians 2:20-21

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

As is pointed out here, it’s all about Jesus and the gift of grace He gave us. There is nothing we can do that will make us “good” in the eyes of God. We are naturally evil, but God’s grace through His precious Son has given us a new life. Accept and cherish the Gift.

Galatians 6:14

But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Oh look what I did! That is how it can get sometimes. Our pride gives us the thoughts that we should have the glory. Only God deserves the glory. Without God, we can not do anything correctly. Only God deserves the Glory; only God!

Galatians 3:28-29

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then are you Abraham’s descendants, and heirs according to the promise.

God doesn’t look at our outward appearance, He looks at our inner appearance. Are we truly believing in Him and His promises? Do we believe in Jesus? This is the full measure. We don’t need other people to judge us, because we judge ourselves. The promises of our Lord are true and righteous. Will we stand on them or go the way of the world? It is a decision we must each make; I pray that yours is the correct one.

I am about to get on a plane and go to a situation in Missouri that my Trust in God is all that can help. My son gets married in a few days and my daughter won’t help me; even though she has the truck I left and the trailer home. Her and the guy that abused her just up and moved the mobile home to a different location without my permission. They have not paid me anything and I paid 22,000 for the trailer and 3,000 for the truck; I could possibly be in a position of nowhere to stay for two days until my Mom gets to St Louis. I am trusting God; that is all I can do. I praise God because without Him, I would probably handle this in a bad way. I pray that my kids all see and understand some day. Will you pray for me?

Galatians 3:24-26

Therefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

If we have faith in Jesus, the law will come natural. We won’t have to stress on it or live in it; it will just be. Faith is our outlook; faith in our Lord Jesus. Faith that everything He said and did is and will be! Praise Him all you people–Praise Him!
