James 3: 1-10

Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. Now if we put the bits into the horses’ mouths so that they will obey us, we direct their entire body as well. Look at the ships also, though they are so great and are driven by strong winds, are still directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things.
      See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.

Hermanos míos, no os hagáis muchos maestros, sabiendo que recibiremos mayor condenación. Porque todos ofendemos en muchas cosas. Si alguno no ofende en palabra, éste es varón perfecto, capaz también de refrenar todo el cuerpo. He aquí nosotros ponemos frenos en la boca de los caballos para que nos obedezcan, y gobernamos todo su cuerpo. Mirad también las naves; aunque tan grandes, y llevadas de impetuosos vientos, son gobernadas con un muy pequeño timón por donde quiere el que las gobierna. Así también la lengua es un miembro muy pequeño, pero se jacta de grandes cosas. He aquí, un pequeño fuego, ¡cuán grande bosque enciende! Y la lengua es un fuego, un mundo de maldad. Así es la lengua entre nuestros miembros; contamina todo el cuerpo, e inflama la rueda de la creación, y es inflamada del infierno. Porque toda naturaleza de bestias, y de aves, y de serpientes, y de seres del mar se doma, y ha sido domada por la naturaleza humana; pero ningún hombre puede domar la lengua; que es un mal sin freno, llena de veneno mortal. Con ella bendecimos al Dios y Padre; y con ella maldecimos a los hombres, que son hechos a la semejanza de Dios. De una misma boca proceden maldición y bendición. Hermanos míos, esto no debe ser así.

Great is the power of our speech. If we really consider the complete matter, God made us in His image, and God spoke all things into existence. We can build up or we can destroy with the most powerful weapon in the world…our speech.

I have been guilty of saying things I should have not, and I also have had things said to me that hurt deeply.

I call upon all who claim Jesus as Lord…think before you speak. Think before you type. If cruel words are spoken to you, think before reacting.

Matthew 25: 31-36

“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me

Pero cuando el Hijo del Hombre venga en su gloria, y todos los ángeles con El, entonces se sentará en el trono de su gloria;  y serán reunidas delante de El todas las naciones; y separará a unos de otros, como el pastor separa las ovejas de los cabritos.  Y pondrá las ovejas a su derecha y los cabritos a su izquierda.  Entonces el Rey dirá a los de su derecha: “Venid, benditos de mi Padre, heredad el reino preparado para vosotros desde la fundación del mundo.  “Porque tuve hambre, y me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y me disteis de beber; fui forastero, y me recibisteis;  estaba desnudo, y me vestisteis; enfermo, y me visitasteis; en la cárcel, y vinisteis a mí.

I think about the many situations of refugees trying to escape persecutions. Countries are wanting to cut off their entrance. Is this what Jesus taught? NO! So when He arrives, who will be on the right, and who will be on the left?

Joshua 1: 8-9

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Este libro de la ley nunca se apartará de tu boca, sino que de día y de noche meditarás en él, para que guardes y hagas conforme a todo lo que en él está escrito; porque entonces harás prosperar tu camino, y todo te saldrá bien. Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente; no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios estará contigo dondequiera que vayas.

If we maintain studying God’s Word, as it says here in Joshua…Day and Night, we will prosper and succeed. Not necessarily as the world thinks of success, but as God determines success.

Yes, we must stand strong and be courageous. We can not be apathetic and allow satan to push us to the left and right.

Preparing For The Coming Chaos

Are you getting prepared?

I must be honest and admit that I have been apathetic as are many others.

It is easy to assume that all the various things happening in the world have happened before, and they will happen again. We see weather acting as we have never seen. We have watched evil winning the minds of humans. It is as the days of Noah.

How long will God allow this?

The Bible tells us that no man will know the day of the Lord, but in the verses surrounding, it also tells us we should know the season when His Judgment is imminent. Well…..

The season is now!

I will put the scripture Maggie and I read this morning and then scroll down, because there is more.

Daniel 12

“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream. And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, “How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?” And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.”

En aquel tiempo se levantará Miguel, el gran príncipe que vela sobre los hijos de tu pueblo. Será un tiempo de angustia cual nunca hubo desde que existen las naciones hasta entonces; y en ese tiempo tu pueblo será librado, todos los que se encuentren inscritos en el libro.  Y muchos de los que duermen en el polvo de la tierra despertarán, unos para la vida eterna, y otros para la ignominia, para el desprecio eterno.  Los entendidos brillarán como el resplandor del firmamento, y los que guiaron a muchos a la justicia, como las estrellas, por siempre jamás.  Pero tú, Daniel, guarda en secreto estas palabras y sella el libro hasta el tiempo del fin. Muchos correrán de aquí para allá, y el conocimiento aumentará.
      Entonces yo, Daniel, miré, y he aquí otros dos estaban de pie, uno a este lado del río, y el otro al otro lado del río.  Y uno de ellos dijo al hombre vestido de lino que estaba sobre las aguas del río: ¿Para cuándo será el fin de estas maravillas?  Y oí al hombre vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río, que levantando su mano derecha y su mano izquierda al cielo, juró por aquel que vive para siempre, que será por un tiempo, tiempos y la mitad de un tiempo ; y cuando se termine la destrucción del poder del pueblo santo, se cumplirán todas estas cosas .  Yo oí, pero no pude entender. Entonces dije: Señor mío, ¿cuál será el resultado de estas cosas?  Y él respondió: Anda, Daniel, porque estas palabras están cerradas y selladas hasta el tiempo del fin.  Muchos serán purificados, emblanquecidos y refinados; los impíos procederán impíamente, y ninguno de los impíos comprenderá, pero los entendidos comprenderán.  Y desde el tiempo en que el sacrificio perpetuo sea abolido y puesta la abominación de la desolación, habrá mil doscientos noventa días.  Bienaventurado el que espere y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco días.  Mas tú, sigue hasta el fin; descansarás y te levantarás para recibir tu heredad al fin de los días.

A recent enlightenment

Maggie discovered a video by a Pastor of a church from the area I came to Puerto Rico from.

Passion For Truth Ministries is in St Charles, Missouri. Pastor Jim Staley in the video I am about to share opened my eyes, and I believe your heart and eyes will be opened too.

The subject is CERN. CERN are the people who are firing up the device that is meant to recreate the Big Bang. It is now spinning, and what will happen next could cause havoc and chaos, or maybe nothing, but we need to prepare.

Does preparation mean getting guns and hand grenades? Does it mean storing food and water?

The answer is NO!

There is only one way to prepare for the possibility of demons being released upon the Earth…that preparation is the only One who can defeat it….Jesus Christ….God in the form of the Son. God the Father gives the Son power via God the Holy Spirit.

Preparation is in the mirror and the knees.

We need to pour our lives down to the feet of Him who can save and protect us. It is only prayer and the Word of God that can help us….nothing else.

So, are you preparing?

Ecclesiastes 6: 10-12

That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he. Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better? For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

El que es, ya su nombre ha sido nombrado; y se sabe que es hombre, y que no podrá contender con Aquél que es más poderoso que él. Ciertamente las muchas palabras multiplican la vanidad. ¿Qué más tiene el hombre? Porque ¿quién sabe cuál es el bien del hombre en la vida, todos los días de la vida de su vanidad, los cuales él pasa como sombra? Porque ¿quién enseñará al hombre qué será después de él debajo del sol?

With all the latest news in the world, I have been depressed. I think on these words from Solomon who had everything he possibly could want, but his soul was in anguish. The answers to Solomon’s questions are actually very simple, but we make it so difficult….JESUS. Yes, Jesus is mightier than we. Yes, Jesus is the one who knows what is good for us in this short time we spend on Earth. Yes, Jesus can, and does tell us what is better for us. Yes, it is sad that the Supreme Court ruled in favor for marriage not adorned by God, but what about all the other garbage? How many Christians are watching the unhealthiness on the television sets? How many Christians are bypassing what the Holy Spirit is telling them? I want to just simply ask:

Will God Find Even 1 Who Is Righteous?

Acts 6: 2-4

So the Twelve called the whole group of disciples together and said, “It is not desirable for us to neglect messages from God in order to wait on tables. Therefore, brothers, appoint seven men among you who have a good reputation, who are full of the Spirit and wisdom, and we’ll put them in charge of this work. Then we’ll devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Así que, los doce convocaron la multitud de los discípulos, y dijeron: No es justo que nosotros dejemos la palabra de Dios, y sirvamos á las mesas. Buscad pues, hermanos, siete varones de vosotros de buen testimonio, llenos de Espíritu Santo y de sabiduría, los cuales pongamos en esta obra. Y nosotros persistiremos en la oración, y en el ministerio de la palabra.

God calls us all to many ministries. As the Word says in the last sentence, we too must devout ourselves to prayer and ministry. Even though I have many things going on, I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to post this morning. That small voice said to just open my Bible and the Word would come. Yes, when I read this scripture again, I completely understand. We have a Powerful and Amazing God. Praise Jesus!

 

Jonah 3

And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

La palabra del SEÑOR vino por segunda vez a Jonás: “Levántate, ve a Nínive, la gran ciudad, y proclama en ella el mensaje que Yo te diré.” Y Jonás se levantó y fue a Nínive conforme a la palabra del SEÑOR. Nínive era una ciudad muy grande, de un recorrido de tres días. Entonces Jonás comenzó a recorrer la ciudad camino de un día, y proclamaba: “Dentro de cuarenta días Nínive será arrasada.”

Entonces los habitantes de Nínive creyeron en Dios, y proclamaron ayuno y se vistieron de cilicio desde el mayor hasta el menor de ellos. Cuando llegó la noticia al rey de Nínive, se levantó de su trono, se despojó de su manto, se cubrió de cilicio y se sentó sobre ceniza. Y mandó proclamar y anunciar en Nínive, por decreto del rey y de sus grandes: “Ni hombre ni animales, ni buey ni oveja prueben cosa alguna. No dejen que pasten o beban agua. “Cúbranse de cilicio hombres y animales, y clamen a Dios con fuerza, y vuélvase cada uno de su mal camino y de la violencia que hay en sus manos. “¡Quién sabe! Quizá Dios se vuelva, se arrepienta y aparte el ardor de Su ira, y no perezcamos.”

Cuando Dios vio sus acciones, que se habían apartado de su mal camino, entonces Dios se arrepintió del mal que había dicho que les haría, y no lo hizo.

I have neglected this blog as of late, and I feel bad because of it. I have been caught up in the freelancing work I do along with the new website I have developed: http://lancerlife.com.

These are not good excuses at all for neglecting the Word of God. Just as Jonah went against God’s calling, I have done the same. No whale has swallowed me, but I did finally receive a picture and short letter from my Grandson Elijah yesterday. He was adopted and I was moved to tears. God has heard my prayer and allowed me to have some contact with this dear boy that I love very much.

My point in all of this is: we have missions in this life. I have been worried about making a living and have turned from the responsibilities I have of God. I first ask His forgiveness and also yours. May your day, your week and your years be full of God’s Grace, Mercy and Love.

God loves us!

Psalm 11

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

En el SEÑOR me refugio;
          ¿cómo decís a mi alma: Huye cual ave al monte?
 Porque, he aquí, los impíos tensan el arco,
          preparan su saeta sobre la cuerda
          para flechar en lo oscuro a los rectos de corazón.
 Si los fundamentos son destruidos;
          ¿qué puede hacer el justo?
 El SEÑOR está en su santo templo, el trono del SEÑOR está en los cielos;
          sus ojos contemplan, sus párpados examinan a los hijos de los hombres.
 El SEÑOR prueba al justo y al impío,
          y su alma aborrece al que ama la violencia.
 Sobre los impíos hará llover carbones encendidos;

There are days when I also feel the wicked and evil are winning. I then realize that God is in control. There partial victory is only for a very short time. Praise God and His Son. It is by Him that we live and breathe. The evil onesshould fear, but through stupidity, they do not.

Psalm 108: 12-13

Oh, please help us against our enemies,

for all human help is useless.

With God’s help we will do mighty things,

for he will trample down our foes.

Danos ayuda contra el adversario, Pues vano es el auxilio del hombre.

En Dios haremos proezas, Y El pisoteará a nuestros adversarios.

Often times we seek other people’s help or advice. This scripture shows that compared to God’s help, human help is useless. Do we seek men before God? The best help of all comes when we fall on our knees and seek God.

1 Timothy 2: 1-4

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Exhorto, pues, ante todo, que se hagan súplicas, oraciones, intercesiones y acciones de gracias, por todos los hombres; por los reyes y por todos los que están en eminencia, para que vivamos quieta y reposadamente en toda piedad y honestidad. Porque esto es bueno y agradable delante de Dios nuestro Salvador, el cual quiere que todos los hombres sean salvos, y vengan al conocimiento de la verdad.

We are to pray for all, not just some. Whether we like the ones who are in government or not, we should still lift them, and their decisions up to God. We cannot assume that God is using them for evil. God has a plan and it is our duty to pray, and let Him be God.
