2 Corinthians 12:14-15

Gifts With Humanity

Here for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be a burden, for I seek not what is yours but you. For children are not obligated to save up for their parents, but parents for their children. I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?

God revealed this scripture to me this morning. I am made to bring my children into the Kingdom; to show them the path. God, please give me the wisdom and the words to be a blessing to those near me. I give You all thanks and praise my Lord. I know that You are holding me.

Colossians 4:5-6

Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive  so that you will have the right response for everyone.

Many don’t actually “listen” to our words, they watch our actions. If we act and treat others with God’s leading and wisdom, those people will want to have what we have. Think before you act and speak…better than think-PRAY!

Psalm 69: 13-16

But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

This prayer of David is so personal. We need to be personal with God too. He listens and understands. He knows our deepest thoughts and our worse sins. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

Talk to Him. He wants you to.

Oh Father, save us!

Psalm 5:7-8

But I, because of the abundance of your gracious love,

may come into your house.

In awe of you, I will worship in your holy Temple.

LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies.

Make your path straight before me.

Oh, this scripture was absolutely needed by me today. No matter the circumstance, I know God is guiding me as long as I keep my eyes on Him. Please keep me in Your path Father God. I trust in You.

2 Chronicles 34:27-28

because your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and its inhabitants, and you have humbled yourself before me and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you, declares the Lord. Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes shall not see all the disaster that I will bring upon this place and its inhabitants.’” And they brought back word to the king.

This prophecy is as good now as it was then. Who will humble themselves before God? This world and the people have fallen away, but God will save and protect those who fall down and worship Him. He is speaking! Are you listening? Worship and adore our great and mighty God, and you will come through unharmed.

1 Corinthians 12:20-25

But now there are many members, but one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; or again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” On the contrary, it is much truer that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; and those members of the body which we deem less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, whereas our more presentable members have no need of it. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

Sometimes we think everyone in the church should be just like us. What makes us the right ones? Everyone in the church body has their place and their uses. No matter what you consider their downfalls, they are needed. Do we, instead of looking at their downfalls, look in the mirror at our own downfalls? We are one body and the body has many members, none of whom are the same, but we need each other. If you are the nose, you still owe respect to the little finger.

Hosea 10:12

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Oh yes, this word is directly for all of us today. If we do what we know is right, God will reward us. Evil will not defeat us. Live for Him, He is our strength and song!

John 7:37-38

On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, he should come to Me, and drink! The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.”

Jesus made it so simple by coming to Earth, but we seem to want to still make it so difficult. All we need do is accept Him and drink of His waters. That is all.

James 1:25

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The law of liberty is not doing what ever we want, it is doing whatever God wants for us. Liberty means freedom in Christ, not freedom in the world. So many have this confused. Confusion is not of God. Live in God’s freedom, not the world’s.

John 16:33

View the inspirational video Finding Joy from Simple Truths

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

There is many stresses and worries in this world. We, as Christians have a huge advantage over those who do not know Jesus. We know that He has beat the world. He has our stresses in His hands and can give us the greatest peace. Are we allowing God’s peace to have the hold on us? If we allow the world to win, we are saying Jesus has no power. It is about faith. Give Him those worries.
